I'm finally back from vacation after a week and a half of being away from home. My mom had been planning this vacation about a month in advance, and I just about died when I found out that all of the new episodes of Avatar were going to show while I was away. Originally I was just going to try to watch them in the hotel, but if I missed just one episode then I'd have to wait until I got back so that I wouldn't see any spoilers, So at the hotel my mom, dad, and uncle were sitting around the coffee table talking and I realized that the new episode was starting in a few minutes. So I tried to just casually change the channel from news to Avatar, and within 30 seconds my uncle yelled at me to change it back to news. But later that night I realized that if the hotel had wireless internet I could watch the episodes within an hour or so after they came out on TV. Anyway, long story short, I watched them on my dad's laptop on the hotel's wireless internet late at night when my parents were getting ready for bed or already asleep, and stayed up till midnight on Saturday watching the Finale. I'm glad I did cause the new episodes were awesome.
Anyway, about the Finale....For those of you who don't know, I ship Kataang. I have never really liked Zutara, mostly because it didn't make sense that Zuko and Katara, who barley knew each other excluding all the times Zuko tried to capture Aang by hunting them down, would end up together. Compared to all the time that Aang has spent with Katara, it just seemed that Aang was the better choice. However, I will say this about Zutara, at the end of the Finale when Zuko jumped in front of Katara to save her from Azula's Lightning after that awesome battle between Zuko and Azula, I would've accepted Zutara at that point had it happened. The Finale was awesome, especially the fight scenes, everything about it rocked, there were only two minor things I thought that could have been done a little bit differently. #1, the mystery around Zuko's mom Ursa, they could've told us something more about Ursa instead of just having her suddenly appear, say hi to Azula, and then disappear again without actually telling us anything, though if they make a 4th season it'll be worth the wait to find out about her. The 2nd thing is the fact that Iroh never used his new muscles, I was looking forward to Iroh fighting someone hand to hand ever since he started working out in his jail cell, I do understand however that no one would want to fight hand to hand when fire bending is so much stronger than normal cause of Sozin's Comet, and it was really awesome fire bending, but I still feel just a little let down. But besides those two little things it was awesome, if this is the end of Avatar I'd give it a 9.9/10, however if Mike and Bryan continue it, it'll probably end up being a 10.
On a side note, I saw Batman: The Dark Knight while on vacation in an IMAX theater in San Antonio. IMAX is awesome and the movie was awesome, combined it was the best movie that I've seen in a theater ever. An easy way to get an IMAX screen is to take a regular movie screen, then make it twice as wide and twice as tall, and then curve it slightly so that the screen isn't completely flat. Anyway, The Dark Knight was awesome, especially the Joker. The Joker is one of the scariest villians I've seen, he is also surprisingly one of the smartest. "Evil Genius" doesn't fit right to describe the Joker even though it is pretty close, a better description for him would be, ignore the oxymoron, an "Insane Genius". The Joker isn't just scary because he looks scary, he's scary cause he messes with people's minds. The way that he is able to manipulate so many people so easily is mostly what makes him scary, he can out-think almost anyone and at the same time be a complete lunatic. ~~~~~SPOILER ALERT!!!!!~~~~~ I mean towards the end of the movie the Joker is able to manipulate almost all the citizens in Gotham City to kill someone because everyone feared the Joker so much. It was literally Batman vs. Gotham City. ~~~~~END OF SPOILERS!!!!!~~~~~
Anyway, thanks for reading. If you feel like it leave a comment.
